The sawmill was established in Nov. 1919 by Ottis Guinan Huggins, Sr. (my grandfather) after he returned from WWI. O. G. retired about 1949 and turned over the operation of the mill as well as the farming interest and real estate to his oldest son, Sawman Huggins (my uncle).
