Donnis Lentz rides his bike in front of The Cottage Lunch and Gulf, Highway 41 at Broadway. The original Johnsonville United Methodist Church is in the background. This is currently the city park where the Johnsonville Christmas Tree is located. The new Methodist Church was completed in 1965 and the old church was sold and moved from the corner.

Odd, My dad was also the Methodist Minister in Johnsonville. Does anybody remember Mrs Eaddy and her 5th grade English Class? All I could see on my test paper was RED.

That may be my aunt Lucille Eaddy who taught in Johnsonville for years. She was the wife of my mother's brother, Virgil Eaddy. They lived on the corner of Jackson and Marion where I visited on several occasions. I have very fond memories of Johnsonville and the times I spent there.
